Metallurgy of Special Steels, Nickel Based Superalloys and Titanium Alloys for Gas Turbine Applications
Venue:
Dates:
26 October, 2010
Cost:
£300+VAT
Description:
This is a one day workshop for people involved in the use or processing of these alloys. It covers the melting, processing, heat treatment and testing of Special Steels, Nickel and Cobalt based superalloys and Titanium alloys for gas turbine applications. The course will focus on the practical aspects of why they are used, how they are made and what problems can be encountered.
Who should attend?
The course will be of benefit to those who are working, or are looking to work, in the manufacturing of these alloys for aerospace and industrial applications.
It will be of particular benefit to those from technical or engineering backgrounds.
Previous attendance on our Titanium and Nickel Metallurgy courses would be
helpful as the metallurgy involved in this course is not at a basic level.
