Following the success of the 1st European Titanium Conference held in 2009, the Titanium Information Group will be hosting the two day 2nd European Titanium Conference on 27-28 March 2012 at the world-class Tortworth Court, Near Bristol.

This prestigious event will showcase the latest in technology, research and applications for titanium. Featuring presentations from the leading research institutions, titanium producers and end users across Europe and worldwide.

A comprehensive line-up of speakers has been confirmed representing all major market sectors of titanium.

This world leading event will provide a unique opportunity to learn about the latest developments across the titanium industry from the perspective of various stakeholders. In addition to a packed two-day schedule of presentations, the conference will offer opportunities for networking with senior commercial, operational and technical decision makers across the titanium sector including a poster display, exhibition stands and a conference dinner.

The latest materials and manufacturing developments will be featured including microstructure and texture, near net shape manufacturing, welding and joining, surface finishing and machining.

The conference will also feature a poster exhibition and competition, in which students and researchers will have the opportunity to showcase their work to world-leaders in the field of titanium. The poster session will take place on the evening of 27th March prior to the conference dinner, and will be judged by a panel of renowned experts with a prize for the winning entry.*
