Description:
This workshop will provide a thorough introduction to fabricating with stainless steel. It aims to provide an understanding of the relationship between material composition and properties, and to cover good design, fabrication and workshop practice through to finishing and inspection.
Workshop objectives:
- To promote good design and fabrication in stainless steel
- To highlight, with examples, what can be achieved by applying the best practice
- To assist companies already working in or entering the nuclear decommissioning supply chain
- To provide an introduction to development and support services
