An introduction to the Rapid Manufacturing Programme

The Rapid Manufacturing Programme (RAMP) will introduce manufacturers in the Yorkshire and Humber region to ground-breaking engineering processes that offer opportunities to deliver cost competitive, specialised products, enabling businesses to compete in the most challenging markets. TWI is hosting this event to provide an overview of some of the innovative manufacturing processes available to industry. It will include presentations from the organisations already involved in the programme (Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, Castings Technology International, NAMTEC, Materialise, Keyworth Institute, Sorby Nano-investigation Centre and Rolls-Royce), and will give the opportunity for visitors to see live demonstrations of some of the technologies being discussed.
