Definitions
The Event Provider - means the National Metals Technology Centre hereafter referred to as NAMTEC.
The Client – means the organisation or person who is responsible for paying for the Delegate's attendance at the Event.
The Delegate - means the person who will attend the Event and is named as such on the registration form.
The Event - means the Event provided by NAMTEC.
The Event Date(s) - means the day(s) on which the Event is held.
The Venue - means Swinden House, Moorgate Road, Rotherham S60 3AR or any other venue hired by NAMTEC to deliver the Event.
1. Bookings
1.1. Bookings must be made on line at www.namtec.co.uk except when the Client has a trade credit account with NAMTEC.
1.2. Bookings by Clients with a NAMTEC trade credit account must be made by email to events@namtec.co.uk or by fax to 01709 724999.
1.2.1. Credit bookings must include a purchase order number and be signed by an authorised person.
1.2.2. Incomplete bookings cannot be accepted
1.3. Booking queries can be answered by phoning 01709 722477.
2. Payment
2.1. Full payment is required at the time of booking on line except when the Client has a NAMTEC trade credit account (see 2. 2 below).
2.1.1. Delegates will not be permitted attend the Event unless full payment due before the Event commences has been received.
2.2. Credit terms are available for bookings over £2,000 subject to credit approval.
2.2.1. Clients should apply for a credit account by email to events@namtec.co.uk at least 28 days before the Event Date.
2.2.2. Credit terms cannot be provided to Clients requesting a trade credit account at short notice.
2.2.3. Credit terms are subject to a NAMTEC obtaining a satisfactory credit agency rating for the Client and a credit limit.
2.2.4. Credit terms will be withdrawn or the credit limit reduced if the Client’s credit agency rating is reduced.
2.2.5. Invoices are due for payment within 30 days of the date of invoice.
2.2.6. Delegates will not be permitted to attend the Event if the Client’s credit account is overdue for payment.
3. Price
3.1. The price shall be as published on the namtec.co.uk website.
3.2. All prices are subject to VAT at the rate applicable at the date of invoice.
4. Cancellation charges
4.1. For event reservations that do not incorporate overnight accommodation in the event price the following cancellation charges shall apply:
Cancellation 21 days or less prior to the Event Date - 100% of charge payable
Cancellation 22–42 days prior to the Event Date - 75% of charge payable
Cancellation 43–56 days prior to the Event Date - 50% of charge payable
Cancellation 57 days or more prior to the Event Date - No charge payable
Transfer from one event to another - 20% of charge payable.
4.2. For event reservations that incorporate overnight accommodation in the event price the following cancellation charges shall apply:
Cancellation 21 days or less prior to the Event Date - 100% of charge payable
Cancellation 22–42 days prior to the Event Date - 75% of charge payable plus any additional accommodation cancellation fee above 75% charged by the Venue
Cancellation 43–56 days prior to the Event Date - 50% of charge payable plus any additional accommodation cancellation fee above 50% charged by the Venue
Cancellation 57 days or more prior to the Event Date - any accommodation cancellation fee charged by the Venue Transfer from one event to another - 20% of charge payable plus any additional accommodation cancellation fee charged by the Venue Changes and Cancellation by NAMTEC
4.3. NAMTEC reserves the right to amend event content and or change presenters without prior notice.
4.4. NAMTEC reserves the right to cancel or amend any event at any time and to offer the Delegate an alternative date or event or full refund.
5. Substitution of Delegate
5.1. The Delegate may nominate a substitute at no extra charge.
6. Provision of Delegate Requirements
6.1 Not less than 14 days prior to the Event Date the Delegate shall provide the NAMTEC Events Department at events@namtec.co.uk with details of any special dietary or disability requirements.
7. Client and Delegate’s Obligations
7.1. The Delegate shall acquaint him/herself and comply with all restrictions imposed by authorities including Health and Safety regulations and by the Venue.
7.2. It is forbidden to remove any artefacts from the Venue or attach anything to the walls or cause damage in any form.
7.3. The Client and Delegate shall be jointly liable for any damage caused to the Venue through misuse.
8. Personal Property
8.1. NAMTEC accepts no liability whatsoever for personal property brought in to the Venue.
9. Conduct
9.1. NAMTEC reserves the right to refuse participation in an event to any delegate whose conduct is deemed to be disruptive or not conducive to the event environment. The event organiser’s decision is final and payment will not be reimbursed.
10. Vehicle Parking
10.1. Vehicles must be parked only in designated parking spaces.
10.2. Vehicles are parked entirely at the owners' risk and NAMTEC accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any loss or damage that occurs to any vehicle or its contents.
11. No Smoking
10.1. Smoking is not permitted in or adjacent to the Venue. Delegates will be given the location of the designated smoking point on arrival upon request.
12. Compatibility of Equipment
12.1. NAMTEC does not guarantee the compatibility of the Venue’s audio visual equipment with any of the Delegate’s own equipment.
13. Copyright
13.1. Event materials provided are for the sole use of the delegates.
13.2. Event materials may be subject to copyright law and are not to be used for any commercial purpose or reproduced.
14. Acceptance
14.1. By completing the event registration form the Client and Delegate(s) accepts these terms and conditions.
