Training Development Manager

To further strengthen our Training team, we are seeking an individual who can facilitate the development and implementation of a range of industry based technical and managerial education and training programmes. This will involve working in close partnership with our industrial partners and brokering support from third party providers; including provision from the Further and Higher Education sectors.

You will be expected to have considerable experience of the education and training environment and the practicable development of technical/managerial courses. You will need to work in partnership with a range of external organisations and be an excellent communicator and team worker.

The role:
- The development and implementation of a range of industry based technical and managerial education and training programmes.
- Consultation with external bodies, organisations and companies.
- Negotiation of training delivery programmes from third party providers; including provision from the Further and Higher Education sectors.
- Management and evaluation of quality pertaining to course delivery.


The Individual:
- Experience of working in the education and training environment.
- A track record of developing and implementing training programmes.
- Able to work at a senior level and broker major programmes between industry, academia and the public sector.
- An excellent communicator and team worker with an enthusiasm for skills development.
