Dr. Alan Partridge, C.Eng. FIMMM, PhD, BSc.(Hons), Chief Executive Officer
Alan has held positions within the University of Liverpool, the Technical University of Eindhoven, the Defence Research Agency at Farnborough (now QinetiQ) and Firth Rixson Forgings. He was appointed as Chief Executive Officer in 2005. Alan acts as an industry representative on a wide range of Governmental and industrial boards and advisory bodies.

Steve has spent eighteen years working in Aluminium R&D with Alcan and its spin-off Novelis. He has a strong academic background and experience of establishing partnerships and collaborative research with universities and research institutes throughout the UK, mainland Europe, Canada and the USA.

Dr. Paul Grant, BSc (Hons) PhD, Head of Business Development
Paul has a strong technical background, considerable experience in both direct sales and proposal formulation, and a good understanding of technology exploitation and the commercialisation process. He has previously held positions at GKN Westland Helicopters, the National Physical Laboratory and the Health and Safety Laboratories in Buxton.

David has held senior positions in large government-owned organisations and commercial businesses operating in the business to business and industrial market places. He has many years experience working within the Energy, Motorsport and Automotive sectors and with many of the leading car manufacturers.

Mike Strobin, Financial Controller
Mike Strobin has 23 years finance experience at board level. He has worked in the engineering, construction and tobacco sectors. He is familiar with both private and public funding of projects. He joined NAMTEC in 2004.
