NAMTEC DELEGATE TRAINING TERMS AND CONDITIONS


Definitions

1. The Training Provider means the National Metals Technology Centre (NAMTEC) hereafter referred to as NAMTEC.

2. The Delegate means the person or company or organisation named as such on the booking form.

3. Training means the service NAMTEC may agree to provide under the Training Agreement.

4. The Training Date(s) means the day(s) on which the Training Course is delivered.

5. The Building means that comprising Swinden House, Moorgate Road, Rotherham S60 3AR.

6. The Alternative Building means the room(s) in the any other building hired by NAMTEC to provide the Training.

7. The Training Agreement means the agreement made between NAMTEC and the Delegate for the attendance on a training course defined and presented by NAMTEC.

Bookings: Bookings must be confirmed in writing by completing a NAMTEC Training Course booking form.

Payment: Full payment and list of participants is required at the time of booking. Payment can be made by debit card, credit card or cheque payable to NAMTEC Ltd.

Delegates will not be allowed to attend the Training Course unless full payment has been received before the course commences.


Cancellation charges: the following cancellation charges shall apply:

  • Cancellation 14 days or less prior to the Training Date.....100% of charge payable
  • Cancellation 15 – 28 days prior to the Training Date........75% of charge payable
  • Cancellation 29 – 42 days prior to the Training Date........50% of charge payable
  • Cancellation 43 days or more prior to the Training Date....No charge payable
  • Transfer from one course to another.............................20% of charge payable

VAT: All Courses are subject to VAT

Cancellation by NAMTEC: NAMTEC reserves the right to cancel or amend any course at any time and to offer the Delegate an alternative date or course or full refund.

NAMTEC reserve the right to alter course contents and or presenters without prior notice.

Substitution of Delegate: The Delegate may nominate a substitute at no extra charge.

Provision of Delegate Requirements: Not less than 7 days prior to the Training Date the Delegate shall provide NAMTEC with details of any special dietary or disability requirements.

Delegate’s Obligations: The Delegate shall acquaint him/her self and comply with all restrictions imposed by authorities including Health and Safety regulations stipulated by NAMTEC.

It is forbidden to remove any artefacts from the Building or Alternative Building or attach anything to the walls or cause damage in any form. The Delegate shall be liable for any damage caused through misuse.

NAMTEC reserves the right to refuse participation in a course to any delegate whose behaviour is deemed to be disruptive or not conducive to the learning environment. The course presenter's decision is final and payment will not be reimbursed.

Personal Property: NAMTEC accepts no liability for personal property brought in to the Building or Alternative Building.

Vehicle Parking: Vehicles must be parked only in designated parking spaces or as directed by on site security staff. Vehicles are parked entirely at the owners' risk. NAMTEC accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage that occurs to any vehicle or its contents.


No Smoking Policy: Smoking is not allowed in or adjacent to the Building or Alternative Building. Delegates will be given the location of the designated smoking point on arrival. It is the Delegate’s responsibility to adhere to the Policy.

Compatibility of equipment: NAMTEC does not guarantee the compatibility of its audio visual equipment with any of the Delegate’s own equipment.

Data Protection: NAMTEC is registered under the Data Protection Act 1998. It will only use any personal information made available to it for the purpose of providing Training and statistical data to the organisations providing funding support to NAMTEC (including but not limited to: Learning and Skills Council (LSC), Yorkshire Forward, Objective 1).

NAMTEC is partly funded by the LSC and Yorkshire Forward. As part of the funding agreements we request that Delegates complete a Direct Learning Opportunity Form.
