In addition to our own consultancy expertise, NAMTEC is able to offer a range of R&D support services through our partner organisation Corus RD&T. This partnership provides companies with access to the world class facilities and expertise within the Corus RD&T Swinden Technology Centre.The laboratory has an international reputation and is involved in many collaborative projects both across Europe and within the UK. It is the UK's premier laboratory for all aspects of steel development, processing and applications in particular for the automotive and transport sectors, but also has a range of expertise covering general metallurgy and engineering through to instrumentation, coatings technology and environmental management.
The laboratories contain a comprehensive range of processing equipment and an extremely wide range of state-of-the-art materials testing and analytical facilities.
