Definitions
The Training Provider - means the National Metals Technology Centre hereafter referred to as NAMTEC.
The Client – means the organisation or person who is responsible for paying for the Delegate’s attendance on the Training Course.
The Delegate - means the person who will attend the Training Course and is named as such on the registration form.
Training Course - means the training provided by NAMTEC.
The Training Date(s) - means the day(s) on which the Training Course is delivered.
The Venue - means Swinden House, Moorgate Road, Rotherham S60 3AR or any other venue hired by NAMTEC to deliver the course(s).
1. Bookings
1.1. Bookings must be made on line at www.namtec.co.uk or via a Training Course Booking Form, available from skills@namtec.co.uk or by phone 01709 723754
1.2. When completing a Booking Form:
1.2.1. The Booking Form must include a purchase order number and be signed by an authorised person.
1.2.2. The Booking Form must be returned by fax to 01709 724999.
1.2.3. Incomplete bookings cannot be accepted.
1.3. Booking queries can be answered by phoning 01709 723754.
2. Payment
2.1. Full payment is required at the time of booking except when a Client has a trade credit account with NAMTEC (see Clause 2.2.).
2.2. Online payments can be made by debit or credit card transaction. When booking with a Training Course Booking Form, payment can be made by debit or credit card by completing the card details section on the Booking Form, BACS payment to National Metals Technology Centre (16-00-08 10236655) or by cheque made payable to NAMTEC.
2.2.1. Delegates will not be permitted attend the Training Course unless full payment due before the course commences has been received.
2.3. Credit terms are available for bookings over £2,000 subject to credit approval.
2.3.1. Clients should apply for a trade credit account by email to skills@namtec.co.uk at least 28 days before the Course Date.
2.3.2. Credit terms cannot be provided to Clients requesting a trade credit account at short notice.
2.3.3. Credit terms are subject to a NAMTEC obtaining a satisfactory credit agency rating for the Client and a credit limit.
2.3.4. Credit terms will be withdrawn or the credit limit reduced if the Client’s credit agency rating is reduced.
2.3.5. Invoices are due for payment within 30 days of the date of invoice.
2.3.6. Delegates will not be permitted to attend the Training Course if the Client’s credit account is overdue for payment.
3. Price
3.1. The price shall be as published on the www.namtec.co.uk website.
3.2. All prices are subject to VAT at the rate applicable at the date of invoice.
4. Cancellation charges
4.1. The following cancellation charges shall apply:
Cancellation 14 days or less prior to the Training Date - 100% of charge payable
Cancellation 15–28 days prior to the Training Date - 75% of charge payable
Cancellation 29–42 days prior to the Training Date - 50% of charge payable
Cancellation 43 days or more prior to the Training Date - No charge payable
Transfer from one course to another - 20% of charge payable
5. Changes and Cancellation by NAMTEC
5.1. NAMTEC reserves the right to alter course content and or presenters without prior notice.
5.2. NAMTEC reserves the right to cancel or amend any course at any time and to offer the Delegate an alternative date or course or full refund.
6. Substitution of Delegate
6.1. The Client may nominate a substitute Delegate at no extra charge.
7. Provision of Delegate Requirements
7.1. Not less than 14 days prior to the Training Date the Client shall provide the NAMTEC Skills Department with details of any special dietary or disability requirements.
8. Client and Delegate’s Obligations
8.1. The Delegate shall acquaint him/herself and comply with all restrictions imposed by authorities including Health and Safety regulations and by the Venue.
8.2. It is forbidden to remove any artefacts from the Venue or attach anything to the walls or cause damage in any form.
8.3. The Client and the Delegate jointly shall be liable for any damage caused through misuse.
9. Personal Property
9.1. NAMTEC accepts no liability whatsoever for personal property brought in to the Venue.
10. Conduct
10.1. NAMTEC reserves the right to refuse participation in a course to any Delegate whose conduct is deemed to be disruptive or not conducive to the learning environment. The course presenter's decision is final and payment will not be reimbursed.
11. Vehicle Parking
11.1. Vehicles must be parked only in designated parking spaces.
11.2. Vehicles are parked entirely at the owners' risk and NAMTEC accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any loss or damage that occurs to any vehicle or its contents.
12. No Smoking
12.1. Smoking is not permitted in or adjacent to the Venue and Delegates will be given the location of the designated smoking area upon request.
13. Compatibility of Equipment
13.1. NAMTEC does not guarantee the compatibility of the Venue’s audio visual equipment with any of the Client’s or Delegate’s own equipment.
14. Copyright
14.1. Course materials provided are for the sole use of the delegates for the purpose of learning.
14.2. Course materials are subject to copyright law and are not to be used for any commercial purpose or reproduced.
15. Acceptance
15.1. By completing the training registration form the Client and Delegate(s) accepts these terms and conditions.
