Within this technology transfer programme, TWI is working with NAMTEC to identify companies interested in gaining business benefit from the services available, and to prioritise their technical needs. This leads on to bringing appropriate technical experts into contact with the companies and facilitating the transfer process. Where necessary, this includes deploying TWI's own experts and equipment resources.

By registering for the programme, companies have access to TWI's Help Desk and its JoinIT® online information and advice service.

We have a purpose-built facility within the Advanced Manufacturing Park at Waverley Park, Rotherham. State-of-the-art equipment is available for high-force and high-precision friction stir welding; laser welding, cutting and direct metal deposition; and cold spray surfacing.
